We love Summer at Lady Yum and we especially love creating macaron gifts that celebrate the season. June also brings a multitude of opportunities to recognize those in our community who make a difference. From gifts to teachers for a hard year’s work (parents, we see you with a hundred balls in the air this time of year!), to end of the year dance recitals, to team banquets - it’s a busy month for all. And not to boast, but macarons really and truly make excellent gifts, especially when they’re beautifully colored, sprinkled with a little extra and boast what we call “smack you in the face flavor.” Did you know we deliver FedEx to all 50 states? 

Ironically, it’s the business of June that gives way into the expansive, unscheduled days of July that just yearn to be filled with spontaneous merriment. From neighborhood games of Capture the Flag, to the insurmountable joy that the Ice Cream truck’s jingle provides, to happy hours that start after lunch and go into the night - Lady Yum is here for it all.

Not only are we here for it, but we go out of our way to try to bring those moments to fruition daily. We believe life is to celebrate and that festivities shouldn’t be reserved for special occasions. This summer’s lineup of macarons and brownie bites are crafted to capture pure joie de vivre - bold, whimsical, filled with Swiss Meringue Buttercream and inspired by everything we love about the season - and wait so long for in the Pacific Northwest! Our macarons are really the perfect Seattle Summer dessert and this summer they’re reflective of seasonal classics. We have macarons and brownies inspired by ice cream favorites (Good Humor. Ben and Jerry’s. Need we say more?), crisp chilled pies, traditional flavor combinations and the perfect summer happy hour (did someone say Peach Prosecco?!).
